People mostly tends to get involved in points making rather than acquring knowledge. It is addictive in nature as well so what do u people think?

I am sry for my poor english but as it is not my mother tonge so if i could covey you what i mean to say or ask whats the problem then?
After going through a few answers its obvious that most of the people out here agree that they do it for fun than knowledge still they are producing arguments in its favor means it could be addictive in nature? I need more answers please in order to proceede further with this Q & A game or whatever. As I am a student so should I jump into it or not? Whether it will harm my studies?

Humans crave communication with others it is in our nature. Whether we give one word answers or write an essay is up to us. Some people have legitimate problems and receive legitimate solutions/advise on here. It may be addictive but there are far worse things we could be wasting our time on.

Yesage it can be a wastage of timeage. But it is funage, too and sometimes you can really help someone out where Google or search engines cannot.

As for the addiction, I don't see any paricular withdrawl so I am inclined to disagree respectively with that particular aspect.

If you want to waste some time here, go for it. It's far better than wasting your time (and money) gambling or smoking crack, though some may disagree.

It is truly a wastage of time. But, where else can we see big words like wastage? I am 45 and so tired of trying to aquire knowledge!
