It seems like everyone these days are cheating on eachother and just don't care to be in relationships anymore. The whole world is revolved around "hooking up". I've observed so many of my friend's relationships and it's just silly because it's so obvious that they are cheating on eachother and only care about sex and having fun. And when I watch anime and see that the characters fall in love with eachother, it makes me wish there were more people like that in real life. So I wonder do you think that there are still people out there searching for "the one" or "true love", or is everyone just interested in having sex with every living thing they meet?

While there appears to be an awful lot more hooking up than there used to be, some people are still in search of the one or love of their lfe. Maybe everyone wants that ultimately, but find a temporary fix in having a night of fun.
Everybody wishes to find the one person they cant live without. But sometimes settle for someone they can live with.
Its a never ending cycle once you start it.
You have to set standards for yourself and understand exactly what you want in life and work towards it. This applies to everything from career, to love, to family.
So, it depends on the individual, and who are we to comment on their way of life.
Just follow the life you choose to live and if hooking up isnt your thing, then great. Work towards what you truly want.
Good luck.

of course, there are people out here who are looking for a sincere relation and will fall in love.
You need a new circle of friends, a different life style, and most of Patience.
Just be honest, open, let your expectations be high on the scale, and don't rush into a relationship, just to be in one.
Mr Right is out there, waiting for you, keep your eyes and mind open, so you will see him

I hate to say but "love" is rare in the US these days. Thanks to all the sexual promotions on TV, they have ruined American life, forever. It's hard to avoid but you gotta stop watching local national TV. You've got to avoid all those, those are based on sex and people are dumb too. Stop watching local TV helps, just watch cable only. Avoid channels like MTV and all that other skanky stuff. I don't blame girls for marrying British or Australian guys, they still have some morals left.

True love is out there, but it's not based in physical attraction, nor love of material goods.

Good luck.

There are still men that stand for what is true and pure in this world.
Take hope. We're not gone yet.
