some details some measures and a good reference
in North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification
in recent times thousands of people have died because of exessive heat, usually old people.in India ,Mexico and France,
deforestation causing desertification, the desert conditions causing very cold nights and scorching hot days
in china, thousands of what used to be farmers are running for their lives from the dust storms that have burried their towns and turned their lands into dessert, the globe where they were got to hot for them .
and instead of producing food they are now needing it from some where else, and they will drastically effect the world food prices when they start buying water in the form of grains ,at any cost destabalising governments, in some countries ,could be the result
(are you seeing more Chinese around interested in agricultural lands ,we do here in Mexico)
,the Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and all of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing ,not getting less ,in the dinosaurs days ,there were no desserts.
collectively this planet is drying up because of bad farming practices like, over grazing and fertilizers,
as far as the food production is concerned, Global warming or some of its effects are serious, rising seas result in landloss
each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss
more landloss because of desertification every year,we have less areble land to produce food ,for an extra 70 million people ,
and there is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,
and there are less and less farmers to do it..
who are overpumping deep carbon aquifiers
who are plowing more and more unstable lands because they have lost so many million hectares to desertification ,
because of bad farming practises ,such as using fertilizers and heavy machinary or over grazing
RISING SEAS
The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
this does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.but the melting ice from Green land and the south pole ,are another matter.
Global warming is in theory reversable, but it will mean global co operation between all countries ,and taking into account human nature and the world politics ,it is unlikely that this will happen,
At least not untill we are all in the middle of planetary disastres and it becomes a battle for the survival of humanity every where.
SOLUTIONS
if you want to help the planet ,plant a tree every week ,if everyone on the planet did we we would be able to reverse the destructive processes
reduce carbon emisions, and they are already working on that by alternative forms of energy and regulations on carbon producing materials, aerosol cans, burning rubbish, industrial chimneys, powerplants etc.
the capture of carbon and the production of water and assist the aquiferous manta.
the world bank pays large subsidies for reforrestation to capture carbon and the best tree for this is the Pawlonia
Waterharvesting projects ,such as millions of small dams.to redirect over ground waterflows from the rains into the ground to supply subteranian water supplies.
the protection of existing forrests.
stop building more highways, urban planning to include vegetation stop building cities encourage people to return to the land to conduct their business from there which now has become possible thanks to the internet.
education to motivate people to auto sufficiency by building more home food gardens.
education on environmental awareness
education on family planning to curb over´populaion
Agricultural education and improvements to follow the principals or sustainability and soil management.
more environmental or land ,design to prevent bush fires, such as--fire breaks
,more dams.regulations and control for public behaviour
alternative effeciant public transport to discourage the use of the internal conbustion engine
recicling wastes,limit water use

We need to reduce man's contribution to the greenhouse effect (which is known as "global warming"). We can do that by:
Conserving energy. There are many websites about how to do that.
Reducing emissions of greenhouse gases, focusing on the big sources, cars, trucks, and electric and industrial power plants. It's easy to get diverted by smaller sources.
Developing alternatives to burning fossil fuels, including all of them; nuclear, solar, wind, and biofuels. It's a big problem, we need all the tools.
Developing methods to capture ("sequester") greenhouse gases produced by man.
By greenhouse gases produced by man, I mostly mean the big one, carbon dioxide.
There are other, more imaginative solutions. We should look at them, but need to not get diverted too much from the important things, listed above. There is no magic answer, this will require hard work.
These discussions always attract people who don't believe in global warming. I think the overwhelming weight of science contradicts them, but that's an argument for another place.

The major sources for greenhouse gases are: 1. Electrical generation 2. Agriculture - meat production 3. Transportation So the best measures would be: 1. Don't live with fossial fuel electrical generation - live "off the grid". Generate your own electricity through wind and solar power. 2. Become a vegetarian. I know it sounds strange but it really does help stop global warming. 3. Do not use fossil fuels in your transportation. Use a bicycle or electrical transporation (from renewable electrical generation). 4. Encourage others to follow YOUR example. (not like AL GORE.)

The root cause for global warming is deforestation
Every human problem is interlin ked here is the graphical represtarion
OVERPOPULATION causes poverty unemployemant & to feed the growing population more &more of trees are been cut down to provide agricultural land& due to which the animal life is come to anend & causing ecological balance . what is actually global warming? it is the heating of the earth .Why on earth life exist b'coz earth has the atmospheric layer which reflcts back to the space &does n'tallow the earth to get heated up &provide suitable temperature for our existence . But now the main component is been depletd that is air is getting polluted and it was used to be cleaned by green plants but now we are cutting the down .To stop this we should promote afforestation
We should use bio degrable items
Plastic items should be banned

1. Spray dust in stratosphere it will cut off heat by reflecting it back.
2. Microwaves to be used in stratosphere.
3. More iron should be used in making ships so that iron oxidation takes place in ocean which will help in growth of phytoplanktons which will absorb carbon dioxide & sunlight.
4. Reducing the emissions from automobiles.
5. Reducing the burning of fossil fuels.
6. Using supercoolant other than nitrogen oxide in supersonic planes.
7. Forbidding the use of refrigerants like CFC & HCFC.

The answer is given in points for better understanding.
1. Reduction in the use of fossil fuels.
2. Developing alternative sources of energy.
3. Reduction in N20 emission by minimising the use of nitrogen fertilizers in agriculture.
4. Development of substitutes for chlorofluorocarbons(CFCs).
5. Increase of the vegetation cover particularly forests for photosynthetic utilization of CO2.

preservation of forests which act as carbon dioxide sinks. Promotion of afforestry by the governments. Planting of fresh greenery ans preservation of existing greenery. Water use management. Preventing desertification of land by restriction construction of concrete structures like roads , high-rise concrete buildings, etc. Reduction of burning of fossil fuels in power plants, industries, automobiles etc. Using natural organic manures instead of chemical fertilizers in farmlands. Banninf the use of aerosols. Generation of more nonconventional power such as wind power, solar power, and nuclear power and cutting down drastically on thermal power. All automobiles should run either on hydrogen, fuel cells, or atleast on ethenol; and in the interim period atleast partially on storage batteries which can be rechargted from utility power supplies. The United States Government should losen its grip on Nuclear Power Technologies and on Nuclear Fuel Supplies to all nations; and should stop considering nations suchas Iran which want to use nuclear power for electricity generation as evil nations. The US government should stop its big brother mentality if we want to stop global warming. The US govt. should stop acting as the world's policeman.
