Please clarify which country, Army or Air Force? There are well over 135 generals. But, General George Casey was just selected and approved by the Senate to be the next US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He's the top military commander.

There are many countries, most of them have war department or, defence department or Ministry.
Head of these are Generals, Admirals or Air Marshals or Secretary or Minister.
Internet and library will be a good source to look up all of them for all the countries of the world as a basic exercises.
