Think about it,they use a machine to send a "signal" into space,it comes back to earth in a zillion peices,collects all together again in this " Box" in your house,and you watch it on your screen....as it happens!..I'm also suspicious of the camera,the phone,and the radio.

I know exactly how it works. Black and white TV is pretty straightforward, color TV somewhat more complex. But the real complexity comes with the MPEG compression schemes used for HDTV. Even though I know how it works, I am amazed that it really produces a picture at all.
