In Common words we can say
an IIT Computer Engineer can start his career with a pay scale of around 6-7 Lacs PA
While from Other Engineering colleges he would be getting a package of around 4 Lacs.

Everything depends upon candidate own eligibility and performance.

I am an aerospace engineer. I work for the US Navy, and my starting salary was 41,000. Working for the government, your salary starts lower than in commercial industry, but it rises faster. After only 4 years at my job, my current salary is 75,000. I don't know of many jobs where your salary can almost double in 4 years.

It would depend partly on the economy. In this economy, about half of recent law school graduates can't find work in their field. You'd think they could just offer their services at a bargain rate. After all, there are plenty of people who'd love to be able to hire a lawyer, but can't afford the $100-200/hr that most lawyers charge. But rather offering low-cost legal services, these new lawyers are simply accepting employment in other fields. This may not relate directly to other degrees, but it's an example where having a glut of people with a particular degree failed to lower the price of their services. So make what you will of it.

dear friend ,
you are not IIT engineer ?
if so you don't have to ask for salary because your work will be paid better then your certificate.

if you want higher paid job then go for any marketing
which is highest paid in the world according to my knowledge

otherwise do your work in better way to satisfy yourself rather then your pocket
