LSD causes no damage to the brain. It is not a poison, it is a psychoactive chemical that mimics certain neurotransmitters in your brain. It doesn't change anything, it just binds to receptors in your brain that were already there and cause the sensations felt under the influence. Only about 15% of the chemical actually reachs your blood brain barrier and the rest is urinated out within 24 hours. It's completely removed from your system within 3-4 days tops.

And to the person above me:

Everyone has those little squiggly lines in their vision, they're called floaters:

"Floaters are little "cobwebs" or specks that float about in your field of vision. They are small, dark, shadowy shapes that can look like spots, thread-like strands, or squiggly lines. They move as your eyes move and seem to dart away when you try to look at them directly. They do not follow your eye movements precisely, and usually drift when your eyes stop moving.

In most cases, floaters are part of the natural aging process and simply an annoyance."

Your eyes? That's a new one. It can alter your brain...duhh, but I have not heard about eyes. But I suppose the poisons in LSD because LSD is a poison that affects the brain causing hallucinations as you poison the brain, it could harm your optic nerves or the flow of blood to your eyes sockets? If you're going to trip though you should be aware that anything could result, even death.
I was in London, and a young girl, 18, on her birthday took XTC and had a brains seizure and died that night.

Yes. Taking it over a long period of time causes 'floaters,' these little flecks that float in the liquid inside your eyeball. You can see them, but you can't look directly at them, because they move when your eye moves. They are annoying, but not painful.

All drugs have side effects, and most illegal ones have long-term ones.

Yes, it can close them permanently. I'd call that pretty serious damage.
