Antibacterial soap is a misnomer. All soap kills germs, the stuff in the special bottles just contains an additional chemical to do the job. Unnecessary, unless you have a known skin infection and rather rough on the skin's normal bacterial count. Most skin problems are due to our abnormal obsession with cleaning and germ killing. You would be better off with just a plain old soap without all the added perfumes, deoderants and germ killing chemicals. A good wash alone should be sufficient, daily bathing is plenty enough. Deoderant should go where it can do the most good, and a few bacteria are actually good for you. Will daily use of an antibacterial hurt you, likely not. But why use and pay extra for what you really don't need to begin with?

Antibacterial soap is great for keeping you healthy. It can be drying to the skin, so make sure you use lotion daily and drink plenty of water.

It amazes me that some people think a daily bath is enough. Do you know how many germs you come into contact with in public? Wash your hand every oportunity you have. You;ll spread less germs to your kids and yourself that way.

Good question.
