It is inaccurate. Entertaining, but inaccurate, nonetheless.

as Henry Ford would say...history is bunk.
i really believe that 89 % of history is not true or warped.
history channel has to worry about ratings just like any other channel except the public broadcasting but I still watch this channel as it is very entertaining but I would take the shows with a grain of salt as being the truth.

I still find the History Channel very interesting and informative. Are you shure you didn't accidentally switch over the the Creflo Dollar show?

Cheap entertainment.
Poorly researched, and indifferently presented.
Proof that a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
At it's best when it can show footage of explosions, revolutions, natural disasters, wars, and similar.
Dismal when it comes to presenting religious or philosophical matters.

The History Channel is not mentioned in the Bible. It is probably an instrument of the devil. Use at your own risk.

All they do is play old movies. It would be better named as the Obsolete Propaganda Channel!
