An eagle has much more powerful feet than a vulture, Golden eagles are capable of taking down a fully grown roe deer.
However, many vultures have more powerfull beaks than eagles, used for tearing tough skinned carcasess.

Vultures and Eagles are two different birds all together. Eagles are Birds Of Prey this means they have to hunt and kill to eat; where a vulture is not considered a Bird Of Prey they survive on carrion, or animals that have already been killed. Their bodies are not designed the same, they are both built to do completely different things.Comparing them is difficult. A vulture is extremely strong, they have the ability to rip and tear the carcass of an animal with a very thick hide. An eagle has extremely powerful feet to catch large prey. Their feet are used to constrict their prey and their toes will lock so they don't loose their lunch.
