Possibly Sinusitis. Inflamation of the sinus. or it could be a polyp a growth that blocks off the air passages, But due to the drugs you are taking i would think it more likeley an infected sinus.
Some operations are simple. The sinuses are washed while you are under anaestheic and then they put in some anti inflammatory powder and pack you nose for a few hours. You stay usually about 2 days in hospital.
The more serious ones like a Caldwell Luc is to open the maxiliary sinus if that is the problem one and this is done via the roof of the mouth. The treatment is similar but the stay in hospital is much longer as there are risks of further infection
You should discuss the operation with your physician and get a referral to an ENT surgeon to discuss in more detail what you require

the trouble with your nose is that you have tried to murder it with all the petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.... my suggestion would be to check out (1) fasting as a way to get the natural function of your nasal-respiratory system back into working order, and then to use a (2)pure unadulterated essential oil, like Peppermint, as an inhalent until you can breathe perfectly well on your own again.
If I were you I would go to see a TCM (Traditional Chilnese Medical) specialist. They seem better versed in holistic health care than most allopathic doctors (eg., just take a look at all the stuff you have been prescribed and how it is NOT working).
God bless!

That's very interesting. I'm having a similar problem as well. My doctor told me to get my nose lapped though. There could be something blocking the nasal canal and may need imidiate attention. I'd seek a doctor that is licensed in that particular area because others may have their own opinions but only a professional in that area can tell you. I would see one right away that way if it could be some kind of nasty infection like mine, then you can get it treated right away. Good luck!

You know, sounds so much like the nasal and breathing problems my sister has had for years. She has been to doctors, herbalists, naturopaths, even considered having an operation like you are. You know what it was???? Lactose intolerance !!! Can you believe it??? All that money she spent trying to find a cure for her respiratory and sinus and full up mucous problems and all she had to do was ditch all the dairy products in her diet.
Naturally, I was the one to discover her problem (since I am lactose intolerant also) so she doesn't stick to a lactose free diet.so her symptoms are always flaring up. Try cutting out milk, cream, butter, cheese, ice cream, candy (yes, that even has lactose in it), chocolate, yoghurt for a while and see how you go!!!
You poor thing, you must have terrible digestion, bloated tummys and wet type farts all the time???

You didn't think to ask when the doctor was talking to you? You were too busy playing with the blood pressure checker thingy weren't you.
