i grew up in a conservative family, so no sex ed from parents(few from school). both of us are adults already. been dating for a year. have not engaged in sex. he told me he had sex one time from a girl whom he doesn't know(met in a bar)(you know by friends)...should it bother me?

If you are human being, yes, it is normal to be bothered. But if you love someone, don't you want the best for them and for them to be happy and to have enjoyed life prior to or any commitments to you?

well it does. so, is being with someone who is also a virgin a must for you? then go your own way. if this is someone you want to be with the rest of your life you need to accept and respect the fact he has had a life way before you came into the picture. if it continues to bother you. don't torture the poor guy, let him go and if possible, remain friends.

If both of you are serious about your relationship, talk to him about getting both of you screened for HIV/AIDS/STD. Once you get a Clean chit , put everything else out of the discussions.Otherwise you will be embarking on a journey of no return.

well, if he had this sex with another girl before you were together it should not bother you. now if you were dating when this happened, then yes you should be concerned.
