The laws you desire are already in place... there is no reason to propose any more. And if you remind people at every corner that 6 million Jews suffered and died they will soon tire of hearing it and begin making their jokes.
Let the Holocaust be history, old news, and people will shut up about it. The more you ball about something that didn't happen to YOU, the more people will respond negatively.

Dear Shalom. You most definitely are not the chosen people and I weary of this monopolising of the Holocaust. It is propaganda at its worst. Don't get me wrong. The holocaust is real but let’s have some respect for history and facts. Not all six million were Jews. At least a couple of million were Russian and other nationals including German dissidents, considered "untermenchen" by the regime. For some totally insane reason we have completely put out of our mind and history books (at school level- not at university) horrendous crimes against humanity. Papa Stalin is responsible for over 20 million deaths in his country and yet nobody complains about that. The Turks killed millions of Armenians and very few people know and do anything about it. The Khmer Rouge with Pol Pot in Cambodia killed at least 10 million people and nobody complains. So please do not be so righteous and monopolise mass murder of fellow humans. You in Israel are doing the same to the Palestinian people. Open up history and check the premises for the foundation of Israel. It is a horror story. As to the discrimination well for that you definitely can blame the Christian religion and more specifically the Catholic Church. When Christianity became the Established religion and ruler of the "West" among things it abolished was money lending. The Jews were exempt. When you want to wage war and stuff you can not pay your mercenaries with corn or meat. They want Gold. So where do you find it. The Jew. So far so good. At some point I duke Blah Blah have to pay the Jew back. Now is a good time to remember that you are the anti Christ the man who crucified my Saviour. So I pay you back by killing/exiling/persecuting/confiscating...etc you. This tradition is carried out for centuries. We have been brainwashed to see the Jew as the Anti Christ. Even Shakespeare falls for this (Merchant of Venice) The Jew in Europe has suffered beyond description. Hitler actually does not behave counter to European tradition. He just takes it to its extreme conclusion. It’s no wonder that after WWII the Jews have had enough of Europe and zero faith in Europe not just the Germans. Ironically during the Reformation of the Catholic Church when it was open season on Jews Protestants and other non Catholics the majority of Jews that left Europe found refuge in the Ottoman Empire (Islam)

What?Hmmmm.I don't know if I should laugh or cry reading this.Racism and discrimination should be condemned ,no matter against who...We don't need to make different laws for Jews, this meaning discrimination against all the other people who are victims of the racism, everyone should respect the same laws...You suffered during Holocaust?Well I have news for you.You weren't the only ones. The Nazis killed and put into concentration camps jews, gypsies, gays, people who were against nazism, people who were not "white enough" for Hitler's dream...Or what do you think that if 1 million gypsies died, they suffered less?

Shalom, my friend!
Yes, the Jews are indeed the chosen people of God. The Lord hasn't forgotten about you. Times are hard now, and the Jewish people suffer on, but there will be a time of joy, peace and plenty. So smile, and think of those things.
People who deny the Holocaust are fools. To do so is just affirming their hatred for the Jewish people, and they have found their means in which to inflict their cruelty. Don't listen to them, they live in ignorance, and will die in the same.
I will always remember the words of the Lord, He said, "I will bless those who bless you ( Israel ) and curse those who curse you."
I am of Jewish descent. And I am proud of that. And I will always bless Israel.
Thank you for bringing up a most important issue!

haha please. jews are discriminated against because of religion. christianity has fueled anti-semitism for centuries, as has islam. religion, and the dogma and blind obedience that go hand-in-hand with that are the cause. and there are laws that proscribe discrimination, but not becuase you are the "chosen people" of a fictious god, but because discrimination based on that is wrong. by the way, i can't think of any more convincing piece of evidence against the idea that there is a benevolent god watching out for your interests than having 6 million of your people systematically executed. and suffering that you experienced on another continent is no basis for giving you preferential treatment here. but the simple answer to your question is religion in its many forms

Uh..yeah. I just asked this. lol I don't joke about the Holocaust and I do believe it happened. There are laws in place for discrimation against any group of people. The law can't force anyone to be a decent human being who isn't full of hate.

Anti religions are all around. They discriminate against Jews, Christians and Muslims. Some others discriminate against anyone with a different religion. So just ignore them and move on.

Amen. I am not Jewish but I have the spirit of a Jew and love Israel.
Those who are blessed (as Jews are chosen by G-d) will always be hated by others. The treasure for the Jews awaits in heaven.

There are laws, dear, in the USA which prevent discrimination but to prevent people from making fun and laughing is just impossible. As I told, Andy Young in Atlanta, you cannot legislate morality. You can only make it uncomfortable to show that you have none.

People have prejudices and unrational hatred towards people of another race - it happens with blacks as well and many other races and religions.
They are unfounded and based on false premises. People also believe the bias of the media concerning Israel and believe that Israel should not be able to defend herself from terrorist attacks.
