If you've come to the conclusion that you're against Christianity or Islam, don't join it. It's pretty simple. If you think it's brainwashing, don't get your brain washed. Again, simple. You're talking down to people who choose to believe something other than you. This country was founded on the idea that we can all choose our own path. Nothing wrong with that, right? You not buying the God/religion jive doesn't make you smarter, it just means you don't believe in a certain idea.
Anything you don't agree with really shouldn't bother you this much. It is what it is. If you think Christians & Muslims are giggling about you and calling you a moron behind your back, why do you care? I'm sure they have better things to do but if you think you're that special, hey...whatever floats your boat. Live & let live and don't get all offended unless these people go to your house, eat up all your food, kill your dog and take your paycheck.

i don't think Christianity is a cult. It is a full-fledged religion. do Islam's followers think the outside world is moron?. Not to the best of my knowledge. There is no such a word like moron in Islamic theology. This is a fact.

As a Muslim I would like to answer.
I consider my religion unique because it's complete on the moral and ethics, we don't really damn other people to Hell, we don't force people to join our religion.
And the outside world are morons because.....
Well put yourself in my place, an average peaceful joe. Suddenly people start calling you a terrorist and make fun of your religion, also say things that aren't true that they have no idea what they're talking about. Hey, it's not my fault they're morons :P
Peace out.

People choose to be in the dark. If some are in the light it's because they have come out of the dark. They're not keeping those in the dark where they are. In fact they realize that those in the dark are in need and desire to have them join them in the light. And furthermore, they realize their own unworthiness and sin, what was keeping them in the dark, but they don't judge those still in the dark. God will judge them.

The biggest hinderance to the cause of Christ are Christians. In theory, it's "supposed" to be a personal relationship with God. A one on one deal, not too bad. People like to pervert and twist things beyond their initial intentions. I consider myself to be a Christian although I will say that Christians generally irritate me.

im a Christian and never would i call anyone a moron for them not knowing Jesus. i will show them love and compassion and pray for them to come to know the Lords love.
i am no more of a person in God's eyes than you are. in this i hope you will see that you have an equal opportunity to see this "light". its funny, once you experience it, you will understand it all and then you will think to yourself "why have did it take me so long to discover this joy?"
God bless you friend. i hope you open your heart to Jesus sometime soon.

I feel rather sad when I hear them clamor over being "born again" once. It takes several rebirths to even realize you've got a long path to follow before you begin to get somewhere.
