well, according to the official (historically approved) version: he comitted suicide in April 30, 1945 in a bunker along with her girlfriend Eva Brown, then a group of nazies burned his body with gasoline... the only thing they found was a part of his skull... plus his dog was poisoned at the same time.
some people say that he stayed alive and moved to south america, and planned to renew the arian and nazi folk, but there are no evidences, this is just a hypotheses.

Nobody really knows for sure, because history is written by the winners, and when the Allies defeated the Nazis, the Allies "decided" how Hitler died. What better way to kill off the worlds most despicable dictator than to dishonor him and make him seem cowardly and to have him commit the ultimate "mortal sin." I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just sayin' that that's what happens. Could still be 100% true. Point is: Nobody knows.

In history books it is mentioned that he commited suicide in his Berlin Bunker as the allied and Russian troops were getting near.

He shot himself in the head in his bunker. The KGB supposedly has a fragment of his skull. Not 100% on that but I do remember seeing that somewhere.

He killed himself - wonder why? Coz he told the world, No one would ever be able to capture him. When they surrounded him from all sides in his hideout, he had no other option but to shoot himself coz of his words on NEVER BEING CAUGHT!
