Clark,

An imaginary character, for an imaginary scenario?

Someone exceedingly intelligent...Spock, perhaps. More a chance of being discovered or getting back to civilization.

Real life...unless the situation is one that someone washed ashore with me, I would not want to drag anyone else, especially someone I knew and care about, into this scenario. It would be hard enough looking after myself...I already know what to eat, what to leave alone, etc., etc.
