I'm looking for something that will work really good on my hair type (so if you have hair like mine, come help a chick out!)...I have long (waist-length), medium-thick, very wavy hair. I sometimes straighten my hair also. Any suggestions?

A few more details...my hair color is medium-dark brunette (brown). Ok, think 'Angelina Jolie'...I have hair like hers, only mine is more wavy and longer. (And in no way was I trying to say I look like her! Haha, I'm just trying to find someone to compare hair to since I don't know how to put pics on here!)

I have really long hair too, its mostly straight but I still straighten it every once in a while. Aussie works good both their shampoos and conditioners and they're reasonably priced, I really like Redken Smooth Down, and Toni & Guy's S Factor is fantastic. But those two are pretty pricey especially the S Factor. A conditioner that I like is Paul Mitchels Leave in Conditioner. I forgot what its called but its almost clear light blue in appearance.

you know what I have medium to long hair, very thick. I tried all th salon shampoos etc.. I found that Head and shoulders silky and shiny works the best. Its the one that has the pink label. It makes your hair so shiny and easy to blow dry and style. I know its traditionally used for dry scalp, but it works good all around.

The new brand just coming out called Organix. You'll be able to buy it at Kroger, Target, Albertsons, Duane Reade, Safeway, etc. You'll love it!
