Hmmm, perhaps this is how Jesus will return? You could be onto a huge money-spinner here - Just kidding. And, MATE, there is no way (unless using a turkey baster) that a virgin can become pregnant, now or 2000 yrs ago. I would imagine that immaculate conceptions where a common claim in the East some 2000 yrs ago, considering the consequences of sex outside of marriage often resulted in stoning!

As a human, Joseph did not believe Mary at first. He planned to divorce her. Jewish custom is that since they were only engaged, they cannot touch each other or live together. So it came to Joseph as a shock. It took an angel for Joseph to realize that it was the Holy Spirit of God who made Mary pregnant. But if my fiance told me that news, NO, I would not believe her. Because God didn't choose her for any mission. What's she on? crack? Maybe if an angel also told me the real story I would believe her.

God would have spoken to you to alleviate your fears if it was a special birth. The virgin birth should be easy to understand now that cloning is common knowledge. I expect that is why Jesus claimed that He and His Father were one. I also have my own belief that only God's creation got on the Ark when the earth was cleaned the first time. Satan's attempt at creation got left behind. Mmm

Are you drunk? ... anyways, would I believe that she was pregnant or that she was a virgin? You can be pregnant and still be a virgin although back in those times the science and advanced medicine wasnt around to support this. I would have still taken her to the prom if thats what you are getting at>?

Joseph had the same suspicions. It was necessary for God to send an angel to explain to Joseph the situation.
Joseph was ready to ' divorce' Mary. Betrothal in those days was as good as being married...without the sexual benefits.

now a days, you can have artificial insemination, the girl would remain a virgin. But Mary was made pregnant by the Holy Ghost. (perverts aren't excepted in this thought).

The Lord moves (and comes) in mysterious ways. Presumably, being omnipotent, he had these details covered off.

You think like a man!!!!
Good thing Joseph was an exceptional man, who trusted God and acted upon that trust and not his own PRIDE.
Joseph, was in my opinion, a gentle, wise, honorable man.
How would you line up?Hmmmm......let me see...oh, wonder if you could be so valiant?
