My son was born dec 2005, and i do qualify for EIC(earned income credit) but last year i didn't think i did, so i didn't claim it, is there anyway i can get my EIC from last year? If so a site with helpful info would be great...thanks

if you have one child and your filing status is married filing joint, then your income would have to be less than $34,001 in order to be eligible for the EIC in 2006.

you would have to amend your 2005 tax return in order to claim the credit.

You can get it by filing an amended return on Form 1040X
