theres a girl in our class ...... i quite like her .......recently she had also started giving off some signs of her liking towards me .... but plzz tell me how do i know whats in her mind ...just a FRIEND or more than that ... i cant ask her directly because i feel that hearing a direct NO is quite insulting ....

I'm a girl and i know. Ignore her for a while and see what she does. She will be going crazy. After maybe a couple of days you could talk to her again but in a group setting and give her a faint glimmer of attention only. She will be after you bigtime after that.

You have plenty of options.
1. Have one of your friends talk to one of her friends and see how she feels about you.
2. Talk to one of her friends directly and see how she feels about you. If you do either 1 or 2, it will eventually get back to her... but at least you won't have to hear 'no' from her directly.
3. Talk to her directly and ask her if it's okay to get to know her better.... not like a date, or anything of the sort, but you just want to talk sometime, because you're interested in her. This is risky, but it's the most honest way to go about it. Just don't put pressure on her either way, that's the best advice I could give you. Other alternatives would be to email her, or ask if you could friend her on myspace or something, then send her a message. The goal here is just to spend time talking with her for a while, and see if you connect. However you do that is fine.
4. Forget the whole thing.

Like everyone else says, I believe it's actually the girls who progress faster. I have two girls, so I don't have first hand knowledge, but all my friends have boys. My 3 yo progressed much faster in many ways, except walking and crawling...the boys seem to be faster with that. enjoy, i LOVE having girls!!

Toughie, just laying your feelings flat out is the only true way of knowing. You can guess what a person thinks but to read their mind would be a great gift, no one can. I suggest you just ask her out, rejection can be tough but you will regret it if you dont do it, I speak from experience. Always remember that if your love is unrequited there are always more people out there, again, from experience.

To know more about a person, you may want to know their personality and attitude. One way is by watching how she acts or responds or interacts with others. Don't spy on her or anything or she may get suspicious. In this way, you may be able to find a way to talk to her.

slowly ask her questions that seem unrelated but are, like what r u looking 4 in a hip cat, and see if what she answers is lik eyou dude, if it is, you are totally made
i often will write fake notes and pass them, and when they get to the girl i will tell her to read it out loud and if she blushes then i kno she likes me, ive gotten laid like a dozen times do to that, and that's being modest

well start out going somewhere that's not an exact date, and more of a friend kinda thing. cause you know friends go out to and have fun.
then if you get the feeling she likes you, ask her again to somewhere more romantic

try to be her friend first..spend some time with her..let some time pass so that she can understand you..when you feel that she knows that you like her, its better to go and ask directly...

what you need to do is joke around with her, make her laugh...and then slowly but discreetly sort worm your way into the question if she like you...you need to play the game she is playing with you
