Message: GOD EXISTS AND YOUR GOING TO HELL IF YOU DONT BELIEVE IN HIM!!!!!!! ITS ONLY THE TRUTH!!!!!!! ALSO, WAT U SED ABOUT HIM, THAT DESTROYS ME HORRIBLY. PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE JUST RETATRDS.
This "message" was sent to me afer I answered people's questions in the Philosophy section, and the Religion and Spirituality section. If you wish to see my answers just click on my avatar picture and look through them, because I'm not really sure which answer this "message" of sorts was a response to.
What does this sound like to you? This person's condemnation and accusations are half of the reason why I turned away from Christianity...I thought that the judging was left to God, and God alone...or am I wrong? I also thought that Christians were supposed to spread the Gospel, not turn people away from it.

True Christians do spread the Gospel, the person who responded to you in that way is NOT a true Christian! He's obviously someone who's trying to give Christians a bad name. Christians don't talk that way... c'mon, you should know that?!

It sounds like the writing of a teenager... maybe a 13 year old. This is cyberspace and you can't see who is doing the writing. Having taught grades pre-k thru high school, I'd be willing to bet that the writer of this email is no more than 14 years old.
Here's the thing... let's say this person wrote me a similar rant about you. Would it be fair for me to judge you based on this person's rantings?
If you want to know about Jesus, ask HIM about Himself... That's what I did... I had had similar experiences from people who called themselves Christians... but I wanted to know the truth about who God was and who Jesus was... so, alone in my room, at age of 18, I asked him to prove himself real to me without the help of people... since people tended to confuse and/or irritate me...
He proved himself real to me... and 27 years later, I am still confident of his reality...
I am sorry you had this experience... I hope you won't make any final judgments in matters regarding God, until you've at least spoken to him, yourself.
Blessings!

the person who sent you this is not a Christian. this person does not show the kindness, love, and understanding that Jesus has to Christians. i apologize for this hypocrite and for his/her words of hatred. Christians are not to judge, condemn, or be rude in anyway to others. regardless if that other knows God or not.
because of people like that, Christians get a bad name and it leads others even further from God. im saddened to hear that you received such a horrible message. if there is anything at all i can do to help you please let me know. and if there is any question that about Christ you would like to take up with someone you know is a true Christian, please let me know.
most importantly, if there is anything troubling you that you would like prayer for, let me know and i would be more than happy to pray for you.
i hope all works out for the better for you and your life journey. God bless you.

Sorry to hear you turned off from Christianity because of that. No one that tells people to go to hell can be taken serious. Don't let it get to you. Stay strong in your believe but don't make it dependent on others.

Even if YOU were wrong, do you think Jesus would speak to you in such a disrespectful manner?
I do not think so.
And anyway, if you have good Bible knowledge, the moment that person mentioned ' going to hell' identified themselves as having no Bible knowledge at all.
Ignore them.

Yah, think about it. Suppose pepsi commercials commanded you to drink pepsi and threatened you if you didn't. Instead they try to make you want it, make it look good. What these churches need is a good advertising company cuz half of their reps are not very good salesmen.

I'm sure he makes his god very proud. I'm still waiting for my first piece of hate-mail. So far I've only gotten one from a nice person telling me that if I had any questions about Jesus to email her.

Wow, someone needs their meds. Don't take it personally. Apparently the message writer doesn't understand that everyone is allowed their opinion, whether they agree or not.

What it looks like to me at first glance is the person is a zealot an over zealous zealot if I may add; they are the worse kind.
