Lemon juice is used to bring out the natural highlights in your hair. For instance - When I put lemon juice on my hair, it brought out the red instead of the blonde. It lasted for like a week or two and then I had to repeat it. The secret was to sit in the sun to help bring out the highlights.

omg! that is so weird! usually lemon juice is supposed to make ur hair blonder! did u sit in the sun?? cuz like I tried it once, and i have brown hair and then it made my hair like a little lighter, but definetely added blonde highlights to it! like my hair doesnt even look the same now, looks better. so umm maybe u just need to sit in the sun, oh and ya u should wash ur hair, shampoo and conditioner! lemon juice really dries out ur hair, so make sure u start using conditioner on a regular basis, i dont kno if u weree before, but just dont forget to use like a little less conditioner than shampoo, cuz if you use too much, ur hair actually gets drier

I find that hard to beleive. Lemon juice will not put color in the hair.
Use a shampoo especially for Blondes

Its a myth, it doesn't actually make your hair blonde just makes it really dry.

PUT IT ON YOUR HAIR AGAIN AND USE THE HAIR DYER TO HEAT IT UP. THAT SHOULD CAUSE IT TO GET LIGHTER
BEFORE WASHING IT.
