Probably you mean the Migration of Birds when they fly from North to South in Winters in the Northern Hemisphere, its because of the very Cold and Snowy weather in their native places during Fall and Winters even early Spring thats why they fly south to comparitively warmer places and its during February that they hatch and are able to take their offsprings along in March-April.Usual migration starts from early October and ends mid-May every year.

Birds like warm weather and the south is warmer. Heck most people would go to warmer climate if they had the money for birds that isn't an issue.

Because in the winter it's cold and they dont like the cold, so they fly south where it's warmer.
