steroids. jk.
err maybe you aren't working out hard enough? or maybe your hormones are developing a bit late? or maybe you're not eating enough protein? or maybe you're cardio training/strength training ratio is unbalanced (a lot of cardio will burn fat.. so a lot of cardio and little strength training will make you scrawny.. a lot of strength training and little cardio will make you big.)?

Man I toootally hear and understand your grieviances. I was the same fricken way when I was your age. All my frinends were punmping 200+ and mwaa was pushing 120 lbs. I came to realize that its a genetic thing passed down from your elders and there is not much you can do about it for the time being. I only started to gain weight when I hit 29 years old and maaaaaaaan did it start to add. When a person hits 30 your metabilism to burn fat cuts down by 50% and you will come to realize that its not so easy to get off of your body.
For the meantime bro, I suggest you drink plenty of milk/bannana shakes, eat meats or high protein meals and you will gain a few pounds. Please I beg you not to get on these weight gain program diets at GNC cause it will only stress your body and make you more sluggish. GO ALL NATURAL.
Wish you the very best
Have a nice day:)
P.S. Pump iron in the process which feeds the muscle the protein it needs.

if you want to gain weight eat protien and calories. Here is why...
when you work out you burn calories, calories is like gas in a car if you run outta gas then you don't move any farther( unless you are able to push yourself, but that is for toning not bulking and in your case you want to bulk up not tone down.) When you work out you cause micro tears in your body and protein is what heals your tears. But when it is done it tends to leave excess behind, therefore creating greater muscle mass. In which this leads to bulking up. I reccomend staying natural, this means don't use whey protein or any other protein its a false advertisement. You can get just as much protein by eating bacon and eggs. Plus you get the extra gas mileage.(hint...hint)

not likely, they're variety of opposite as scaling down demands an extremely low calorie nutrition plan while bulking up demands an outstanding sort of carbs and protein. the final element to do is, shrink down for a at the same time as (30 min cardio daily, eating healthful nutrition, low energy) as quickly as you attain a low physique fat point you will possibly desire to be very in superb condition by then, then you are able to initiate development muscular tissues by doing weight education and alter your nutrition plan to extreme in protein and rather extreme in carbs (nonetheless save faty ingredients to a minimum)

Eat like a bodybuilder kiddo! That's just as important (maybe more?) than how hard you lift. Several light healthy meals a day, limit the junk food, get enough protein with each meal.

Ride your bike, and then do push-ups when you get back. And don't worry about it! Sixteen is pretty young still... most people fill out in their twenties anyway.
