I wasn't doing much tonite, so I did some checking for you. GulfAir has a flight departing on the 14th @15:30 for about $149.00 US, inc. tax. I found this fare on zuji.com, but you can probably call or try GulfAir directly. They don't show a flight on the 15th. Otherwise, Thai Airways was the next cheapest I could find, but considerably more. I fly between HK and BKK quite often , I don't think you can beat that fare. One of your previous answers had a good idea about flying Air Asia from Macau, but then you would have to get to Macau. A good tip when flying one-way: Airlines departing from a city that is not their hub, will usually be much cheaper than airlines where the departure city is their hub, in your case Cathay Pacific is Hong Kong based and was the most expensive one-way to Bangkok. However, on a recent flight from BKK to Singapore, Cathay was by far the cheapest, not inc. Air Asia, but I'd rather not fly with them (that's a whole different story). Check out the GulfAir flight, it's a pretty good price.

Any airlines flying that way has one way..just that it's gonna cost more. There is one local airline in HK that sells ticket for one-way, it's Oasis bt it don't fly to BKK. You can try AirAsia, but u need to travel to Macau..cos they don't land in HK. It's a budget airline.
