I have chicken, steak, and stew beef in the freezer. I don't want to do a beef stew because we just had that. I'm looking for something I can throw together in 5 minutes and let it cook on its own. Any ideas?

I got it! Slow cooker chicken and dumplings.
Here's what you'll need:
* 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
* 1 onion, finely diced
* 2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces

Then----

1. Place the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover.
2. Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High. About 30 minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.

I also add baby carrots, peas, and chopped celery, also salt and pepper (to taste) and some fresh garlic.

It's super easy and tastes wonderful - great for winter.
I hope you find something you want to fix. :)

Take a steamer basket for a whole chicken that you have put garlic salt & olive oil take cut up potatoes carrots & other veggies put on the bottom and put the chicken in the basket cook for six hours. Cut up pieces take's four hours.

For the stew meat take your fave barbeque sause put in crock pot with sauce and cook for four hours serve over rice.

Steaks however get a George foreman grill get soy vey marinade and marinade for 24 hours in a quart size ziploc bag 1/2 cup marinade per steak put one steak in, take's about 8-12 min depending on how you like your steak. I use my crock pots and grill every day as my son is a Vegan and Me& Hubby, and his big sis are not!

If you have some hamburger meat in the house, make some sloppy joes/barbecues in the crock pot.
