...and I mean ONE woman (at a time at least)
It seems that heartbreak surrounds me and I have yet to see a working relationship that isnt solely about sex or any other superficial aspects of romance that we always seem to look at.
Understandably, there may be some men out there who are having trouble believing if a woman can truly love a man (thus, the tables turned on perspective)
Make a believer out of me.--I need some help.

Well you seem to write very well, so your communication skills probably are at tune. You seem to think that sex is all that a man looks for in a woman. That really depends on who you are and how you think. Why do you not like about sex? Why do you feel that it is the one thing a man looks for in a woman? Could it be that someone slowly taught you to believe these things. Surely you know that looks change in time and a man knows this. Some men look for more things in a women and sometimes a woman cannot accept being that she is not perfect, that she too makes mistakes like a man and sometimes the women assumes that it is because of the sex or thinks that it is because of the sex so that she hides the true reason from herself why men do not like her. Each woman is different. Perhaps somewhere out there, there is a person being shaped and molded to being the best mate for each one of us. Try to analyze why things do not work out between you and men.. Are you in the right place but at the wrong time and with the wrong crowd. You might consider making new friends that have working relationships with their partners. You might learn something by finding out why their relationship works.
That superficial aspect of romance that you mention to some people it is consider flirting, and every person has a different feeling regarding these things., and yet to others it is an act of falling in love.
Yes, a man can truly love a woman, when a man offers you a soft drink or a glass of water he is showing you affection and he is showing you that he cares if you are thirsty or not. When he walks with you and talks with you about you, about life, he is showing you he cares about you, he is not walking with no one except you. Why do you think he wants sex for just talking with you… could mean he likes your personality or he thinks you are funny and great to be with. When a man has sex with you that should be the ultimate act of love, try not to think of it as a chore, and try to love, too. Do you not feel comfortable when a man protects you from harm.. Why do you think he wants sex, when he is protecting you cause he knows he loves you, and he wants you safe, a man will risk his life for you to save your life.. When a man prays for you, he is expressing his love towards you… to his God or religion. There are many reasons a man loves a woman… her funny looks, her sexy walk, her confident walk, her smile, the sincerity in her eyes, or only just physical. A man loves to here his mates laughter, by this he knows she is okay and not sad when she laughs, unless she laughs hysterically then he knows she must be crazy but he still loves his woman. Do not think we just want sex… we love to hear a women’s problems and also love to help a woman resolve them but also like to learn on how a women resolves her problems… yes man think woman are smart, too. .and yes most men love women who talk, some like women that are quiet.. and some love women for many other reasons..... .try to relax… a little…. Things will get better….

Some guys are immature and don't know love when their looking it straight in the face, all they care about is sex and will do anything to get it. But their are men that worship their GF my best friend would probably jump off a cliff, and as for me, I'm crazy about my ex-GF but it's my fault she dumped me I was a terrible BF! I accused her of cheating on me and went out with her best friend! And believe me I regret it now! I'm crazy about her, and just realized I can't live without her! I hope things work out for you! This is a hard question to answer because, for me, the details are very personal. Suffice to say that my marriage isn't perfect, but my wife and I love each other deeply. We take care of each other, not just physically, but emotionally.
The biggest belief that my wife and I are deeply in love and dedicated to each other is growing and developing in my wife: It's our son.

maybe your looking in all the wrong places, i know when i find the right women for me, she will be treated like a queen. try not to put me in the bad side with those dogs. good luck

I disagree, people are very capable of love. They just can't love anyone more than they love themselves.
