Ahhhhhhh! A Dentristy question.

For fillings - Varnishes:
Amalgam: A type of metal cement, containing mercury and leads, used for filling up cavities.
Resin: Used to fill up holes in teeth for cosmetic purposes. Comes in different shading powders, and used with a stabilizing glue to keep resin intact with the tooth. Xylon, I think is used to produce secondary dentin, I think?
Durelon: Used to cement the tooth into place such as temporary crowns or permanent crowns.
Sealants: Varnished used to seal in teeth, used on primary dentition to prevent cavities.
Temporary crowns: Made from resin and stabilizing glue. It can be formed and shape to make a tooth and applied with Durelon cement.
Formocresol: Used with a small cotton ball to fill up a cavity chamber.

I hope this is right.

flouride varnishs to protect tooth from outside from decay, sensitivity,
