New Radicals? They had a hit a few years ago.....it was a record called: Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too
Was this a religious satire, or was it just blatent atheism?

I have that CD. One song on it is called "Jehovah made this whole joint for you" It is not satire. I certainly wouldn't call it atheism either. The albums title doesn't appear to have anything to do with religion.
(By the way, The song "You get what you Give" is awesome.)

I loved that band.
The lead singers parents were in some cult or something, so they writed songs that is like a religion but more than it.
Like the song "Someday We'll Know."
Someday we'll know why Samson loved Delilah~
