Login as Administrator and you should be able to access thos files.

If you cannot find the administrator user account when you are starting the computer press the F8 Key this would bring safe mode menu and you would see admin account.

Access the folder copy all the files to a new folder .

If your Laptop has a Floppy Drive.

Get a New Blank Floppy.

Go to cmd prompt and format it using the format /s command.

Now boot your Laptop using that Floppy.

Once you are in command prompt you can create a new folder and copy all the files from the folder to the new folder.

If this doent work.

Please get back to me.

No, recreating the same username will not do it. Each user is created with a unique ID and even though you create "JoeUser" account again, it will most likely have a different user ID.

The Administrator should be able to access the file though - have you tried that?
