Ok i like this guy he is my neighbor. we played together since we were babys. and now i'm 13 him to.people said at school he liked me. and he is kinda shy. do u think i should ask him out and how. or should i wait. one word HELP!!!!

I think you should wait a while. I mean, 13 is not really the age to start dating! You should wait a while...giving both, yourself and the guy some time before anyone makes any moves. If the guy is shy, then it'll take him a long time to actually pluck up the courage to ask you out. But if you want to go out with him, you could just suggest going to a movie...or going for coffee or something. And when he says okay, you can say something like "Great! Then it's a date!" and just leave it at that.

if hes shy you cant depend on him to ask you first. but of course that dosnt mean he isnt interested. ask him! im pretty sure that when a guy is single and has a close female friend, 90% of the time he is interested (ive been there a number of times). it seems like a complicated situation, but it really isnt, so the conversation dosnt need to be complicated, just tell him you would like to be more then just friends, and ask him how he feels about that. chances are he feels the same way and he will be glad that you broke the ice. consitering the fact that he has been there for you since you two were in diapers he will probably be a better boyfriend then some guy who flatters you with a cheasy pickup line. but this is the 21st century things arnt the way they used to be, we live in a day and age where girls can take control of this kind of situation. if you really like him, and dont tell him, you are being dishonest to him. your friends deserve better than that. good luck!

To be honest darlin'.. For me, what I've witnessed works with men is this.. Sometimes they make the first move..Sometimes,
you have to make the first move, make yourself noticed by them..
Then once they notice you..They'll go crazy, absolutely nuts for you..Now, that's what you want. Go and tell your man, if you wait,maybe you'll end up waiting forever..maybe your boy will get another girl,who the hell knows..just grab the oppourtunity when it slaps you in the face..sort to speak..
And other word...
Do not chase men, by all means..do not chase men.
You want to be the one chased,it's so desperate and pathetic to chase a guy.They're the hunters,so let them hunt. =)

Wait...you are too young even if you've known each other a long time. Keep being a good friend to him and wait for him to ask you out. You'll be doing him a favor, trust me!!!

If he wants to ask you out, he will, but if he's shy,he may need some prompting.
