Say what?
None of those are bad or sinful as they don't affect the outcome of your soul. Anyone who thinks so needs to get their priorities straight.

Hair colouring at a young age might be detrimental because of the chemicals. Just think, a bald kid at 5, nasty. And w.r.t. piercings, as you grow the hole also gets bigger, it'll look plenty ugly when you're grown up, piercing is a no-no (although I don't think this happens with ear piercings for some reason). At least wait until puberty or so, when you don't have too much left to grow.

Any prevalent trends in society enter through the people. A society includes people of all ages. When styling is introduced different age groups see it, they visualise it differently and different ages have different tastes. Mostly young ages enjoy trendy and styling things, coz' they 're basically meant for them only. Medically, it will be viewed differntly. If you go by strict medical opinion, you won't do most of the existing things in the world.
