I've never tried to fall in love with a girl over the internet, but I have tried to maintain communications long enough to make meeting a viable possibility. The closest I ever came was with a girl from Japan whom I corresponded with for about 3 months. She was coming to America and agreed to see a movie with me. For some reason, she quit emailing me for a long while. When she finally sent another message, I was no longer interested in talking with her.

The last time I tried was on yahoo personals. I got one girl to exchange emails, but it only lasted two messages before halting. Overall, I consider online searching to be a waste of time. Afterall, someone on a computer cannot compete with people who are seen and interacted with on a daily basis.

I have tried and i ended up marrying my soul mate. I wasnt on line looking for love, but i was in a chat room and started talking with him and we had alot in common and it lead to talking on the phone and then we met and we have been together ever since. he even took on my 2 kids as his own. So in my opinion and experience YES i believe in it. Its true that some people are fake when u talk to them online but arnt people fake when u meet them in person 2, thats why u have to get to know them. Go for it!!!!

cyber-love is just as fake as the internet.......u can never really know a person u never met......they can say they are one thing when they are really the apposite jsut so they can get ur attention......if u really trully would love a person ...........its nott over the internet..........u have to spend time with that person in the really reallity world(gosh i sound like someone form the Matrix lol).............anyway my point is i think u need to know a person to love them.............but thats just my opinion.........

don't waste your time - there's a reason why long-distance relationships go down the drain - it's worse if it's online...
