Drink water, keep meals simple, chew thoroughly, eat grains, nuts, seeds, fruits and beens instead of meat. Seeds of the various nuatures listed are the body's primary source of energy stores and building materials, and fruits, especially fresh help maintain a lower body toxicity. Artificial weight gain products especially can be bulkifying in unpleasant ways, try to stick with wholesome foods instead.
Don't dwell on the body except for the sake of remebering yourself as strong to act in yours, and others, best interests, as our nervous systems determines how well the nutritional quality we give it is then applied.
These all have been verified thru double blind scientific study, and are left brief for ease of reading and adherence. Those who work for others are indeed healthier, and often fitter.

Simply trim the fat away. Eating lots of protein, keeping hydrated, and lifting heavy (meaning you do 2-7 reps to actually use practically all the fibers in the muscle, so your body knows to burn fat and not the precious muscle as calories are dropped). This way you've got ample protein to keep rebuilding/fueling and speeding along your metabolism, and you're telling your body you need that muscle because you're lifting very heavy (the heavier you lift, the more fibers in a muscle you activate/use). Good work.

do less weight and more reps.
4-6 reps = strength
6-9 reps= size
9-15 reps= endurance/definition
when you do more reps, your not building size, but cutting away all the extra fat/ muscle.
