My great grandmother always took really good care of her skin. She had beautiful tight skin in her 80's. My own mother has the most beautiful skin and she's always taken very good care of her skin as well. She moisturizes daily. Because I was allergic to a lot of things I didn't moisturize for years. I started using ANEW retroactive cream by AVON about 2 years ago. I have had so many comments from people who come in as customers, on my beautiful complexion. I can personally see a difference around my eyes. I highly recommend taking care of your skin. I also avoid being out in the sun without putting something on to keep the sun off me as much as possible. That makes a HUGE difference as well. A lot of moisturizers have a SPF 15 sunscreen built into them. Your wife is right on this one.

Sorry JB. Moisturizers will help to prevent wrinkles. When you apply a good moisturizer you are allowing the skin to stay soft and supple. One that has vitamin e will be wonderful and an SPF rating of at least 15. The SPF will block the harmful rays of the sun.
You don't want the skin to get dried out on your arms or legs either. And always apply from the collar bone up to the forehead in an upward stroke... as this will also help (over the course of time) to keep the pains of gravity at bay.
Think about what happens to a fan belt in your car when it gets dried out...it cracks. It loses it's elasticity and strength and ability to keep that motion going Now you wouldn't want your wife's beautiful face to start looking like your old fan belt do you? Doesn't make for very good arm candy now does it? So pay up Pal.

Hi there. Moisturizers defiantly help to prevent wrinkles. People that have oily skin to begin with always tend to age slower because there skin is far from dry. The more you moisturize expecially with a sunscreen the less chance of wrinkles. It helps to keep your skin like "elastic". You dont want to use a regular lotion but a "face" moisturizer, it is thinner and non-comedigenic (Im not sure of the proper spelling on that one:) Your wife gets the $10.00! Sorry:)

haha diaper rash cream. thats funny. to prevent wrinkles you should be using a moisturizer or even a serum that has antioxidants in it. and more importantly you should be wearing sunscreen 365 days a year - because the UVA rays penetrate clouds no problem... and UVA is what causes wrinkles through the breakdown of the collagen fibers. surprisingly around 90% of your wrinkles are caused by the sun, and only 10% is due to aging. which is why its important to use antioxidants and sunscreen - both help prevent damage from UV rays, and if you use one with vitamin C it should help even out your skin tone and help make it soft vitamin C promotes elastin and the synthesis of collagen it also inhibits pigmentation preventing and possibly diminish scars and uneven skin tone if you need some advice on products, send me a message with your budget and ill try and help you out. keep in mind not all products are made equal, some use a very unstable form of vitamin C just to claim it has vitamin C and sell it for a quarter of the price of an effective serum. also eating vitamin C like oranges, wont help - thats for the immune system and wiping oranges on your face wont help either - its a very specific formulation that is for topical use only

Saw a v. good dermatologist and said the best anti wrinkle cream is sun screen.
No moisturizer can claim to eliminate wrinkles. If you listen carefully, the ads will say things like, help reduce the appearance of, etc.
The "active" ingredients of brand name products, i.e., Olay, Biotherm, Vichy, are all produced by the company that makes the product and make up the names of these active ingredients.
Who really knows how good it is. As far as I know, there is no objective analysis of this stuff available as the companies will not release their formulas.
I always moisturize and sunscreen in the morn. and just moisturize in the evening. It does help to smoothen the wrinkles.
Leather always looks nicer after is has been treated too.
How much you wish to spend and what you use is up to you. I keep as close to natural ingredients as possible and limit any product cost to a max of $50.00. I use the whole jar up before trying a new product.
After all, the ads are made to make you "think" that they are really going to work and therefore make you feel better about parting with your money.
