everything i can get my hands on that is high capacity and dont have to reload. I am thinking a SAW. I would want my Bible and a Cross too. maybe some silver bullets. side arms at least 2 but the key is ammo you dont want to have to reload and shooting off the screen dont work in real life. save 1 for just in case you get over run and you can eat a bullet save being turned into a zombie....

Depends.
1. I am home and with my fortified retreat I use my 308 to whack the ones further away, say 100 - 200 yards

2. Closer ones eat 12 ga buck or 44 mag from the Rossi puma

3. I am away from home, I have the FEG HKK-45 and 5 spare mags plus 2 boxes of shells. I try to reach home and cap any zombie I cannot drive over in the H-1

I'm thinking 12 gauge, pump action with buck shot for close range. Good punching power, lotta oomph. For pistol, I'm going double fisted 1911 .45's with hollow points. Slow muzzle speed, lotsa spread with the hollow tip, good stopping power. For rifle, definitely M14 .308. Good distance, accuracy, 20 round mag and the .308 is an older, but effective hole maker. Any bigger than that, I'm going the TOW shoulder fired missle by Raytheon missile systems. Take out a bunch at a time with that one. Other than that, I'd take a chainsaw. Good times.

In the scenario you are describing nearly any caliber would do since all you have to do to 'stop' them is to shoot out their knees.

Even a .380 w/hollow points would work nicely. I have several high cap pistols from 5.7mm to .10mm that would work well. Or my Ruger PC-9 carbine with 15, 20 n 30 round magazines loaded with 115 grain +P+ hollow point ammo. That would be my first choice in this scenario.

It depends. For close quarters, nothing beats a good Glock. Are they walking up the street? I'll take an AK. Nnow the people that are shotgun fanatics are OK, but they'll have to remember to hit the zombie in the brain.

3/4 ton truck, full tank of gas and a snow blade. Empty glass bottles with gas and rags stuck in them. 12 ga. for the close ones, 1911 .45 for handgun, and M1A .308 for the rest. Also I would quit eatting mushrooms on my pizza......

Your all off- I'd use the Barret style .50 with the 16 inch barrel, or a Colt Defender http://guntech.com/hillberg/

You can't kill them! They're DEAD! Get a pair of chainsaws! That will make dog food out of them pretty quick! 'Course the gajillion bullet spitter sounds fun, too. Mow 'em down!

I would opt for an AR15 with 30 round mags or possible my Beta C-Mag (100 rounder) and shoot them from afar!

If they are closer I would opt for a Glock G17 9mm with many 33 round mags and maybe a set of Crimson Laser Grips for it. :-)
