The Bible says that He made us in His image......
Read your Bible please, Genesis 1:27 says, "so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them"

Hmmm, we have the same genetics, bone structure, organs, mammary glands, vaginal birth and every other characteristic of a mammal., I breast fed, animals that are mammals also breast feed. I gave birth with out meds or intervention and I truly felt connected to every woman of every species of mammal.

If someone says that we are not animals they are deluded and ignorant.
It is this sick separation from the natural world which is causing such global devastation that will self fulfill the Christian ideology of Armageddon.

For the person who said we can't be animals because of our frontal lobe: Every species of animal has something to distinguish it, having a unique trait does not mean you are not an animal.
My Dogs and horses understand what I ask of them, It is humans who choose to not understand other species of animals, and that hardly makes them more intelligent. P.S. Dolphins and whales also have enlarged frontal lobes, but the person who said that probably thinks that dolphins and whales are fish.

We are not animals. Animals operate in accordance with natural dictates. We operate using chaos as a dictate.

The Friar must be a member of PETA, and he did not wish to insult the animals.

(But yes, we are 100% animals. Just overly complicated ones, with way too many useless features in our operating system so we're more prone to crash and malfunction big time...)

In a biological, physiological sense, we are animals. We have to breathe, eat, sleep, etc. in order to survive, just as any animal. We have the same organs that regulate our bodies and perform necessary biological actions as most other animals. However, in cognitive functioning, we are not animals. Our frontal lobes are often non-existent in other animals. The frontal cortex controls more advanced cognitive functioning, such as emotions, etc.
