In our morning prayer my 8 year old grandaughter ask Heavenly Father if he could possibly arrange it so she could work on the lunch line today. She'd been picked to help this week but only as an alternate! So she probably wasn't going to get to help this time.
When she came home, she was so excited. One of the lunch lady's wasn't there so they needed two more helpers.
Her prayer was answered! So we said a thank you prayer.
Tell me of your experiences!

I'm sorry for your lose! And I'm sure even tho it's not the answer you expected, God still answered your prayer. Did any one stop to consider that the child might have been unable to live a normal life after the tumer and chose to stay with God?
God always answers prayers. We just don't always recognize the answer especially if it's wrapped a little differently than we anticipated!

GOD never answers prayers. It is your own self doing and you have only you to thank for. But, you can always thank GOD for the gift, HE has given you to do things on your own. Than, be a puppet for HIM, of course, it is what I preach the most FREE WILL!!! So, thank GOD for Free Will and your not a mindless puppet.

I've had so many prayers answered it would fill this page. Most of those who refuse to believe though are too busy asking for a million dollars or a mansion in Malibu. They can't see how God works in small yet powerful ways throughout their lives on a daily basis. That's why the Bible says we must "be still & know He is God." When we are too busy rushing around we take for granted all He does for us. I'm SO HAPPY for your daughter. What a sweet way God confirmed His love & care for her today.

Don't listen to the person who said prayer wastes time. I'm happy God answered your grandaughter's prayer. I have prayed, and God is answering mine!

that's what i like to call "a coincidence." it happens. if your theory is right, then i should get 6's when i play yahtzee. i doubt that if there is a god he really cares that much about your 8 yr old's lunch line. seems kind of trivial.
and no, my prayers arent answered. and i have no problem fending for myself and not begging.
