Can you really like someone and be mad at them on a regular basis?

I really like them and really don't like them at the same time. I want to hang with them all the time, and I don't ever want to see them again. I know that's not really logical.

It clearly means there are something you like and something on it you hate.

It is not a perfect match, and you keep it because it is still better than nothing.

So, the best way you handle this is just like you handle your other aspects of your life. Such as your current job, you need the income, but you do hate the work.

However, in relationship, there is a small difference you can use as a tool. You can lower your expectations.

You can even lower your expectations below zero as most family members must do to survival.

Without expectation to others will free you up like a lark. This prescription will benefit you forever.

There is a fine line between hate and love so it has been said.

I would say that if you have that much trouble with someone there is a problem. It shouldn't take that much work to be around them and enjoy them. Let's face it you aren't enjoying them you are tolerating them.

Being a friend doesn't mean you have to endure this torture. Are they adding any value to your life? Are you to theirs? Maybe if you have to keep them in your life you should limit the time and place with them. Open your eyes and really evaluate your friendship and find out what you want and what's best for you.

Yes it's more possible than what you think it is. I have felt this way towards certain individuals from time to time. It does not seem right but it happens. Sometimes it stays that way for good, or at least that is what happened with me.

well, i guess that that happens to most of us at least one time in our lives, just try to figure out why or what is the one thing that makes you not like this person and make it better from there... trust me, it will get better
because if you like this person you will do what you need to do...
