well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. But after that whole thing she began to be really shy around me and we don't really talk anymore. she looks at me alot during class and turns away when i look. did she say no to hide that she liked me? also i got a friend to talk to her and she said she wanted to talk to me. then my friend called her while i was on the third line and my friend asked why she keeps looking at me during class and she said just to see what hes doing. then she kept going about the things she liked about me and then my friend asked do you like him and she said she'll tell him at school then they talked at school the next day and she does like me. i'm kinda confused now. i also noticed shes been trying to talk to me but is too shy. i'm just not sure what to think anymore. should talk to her?

I would talk to her directly and ask is she wants to date. If she says no, ask nicely for a reason. Maybe her parents think she is not ready to date yet and she is reluctant to tell you so. Maybe you can just hang out at her house in that case and let her parents get to know you. Maybe she really does like you and is afraid to go on a date--in that case suggest a group outing with some of both your and her friends.

It could be her friends don't know the truth. Maybe they lied to you, or she doesn't want them to know. Maybe she's embarrassed to admit it. You sound very young. So, assuming we're talking about a group of young girls, it's possible her girlfriends are the kind of girls that'll tease her for liking certain guys.
If I were her, I'd be wishing you'd arrange to talk to me alone. This way, her friends won't be such an interferance.Good luck!
