The famous Pax Romana was not a time of peace for the millions of people under the Roman yoke of slavery and high taxes.

The Cold War was just that--50 years of nearly constant warfare throughout the world, although the two Superpowers never actually faced off with one another.

No one country can solve all the world's problems, nor can two be expected to bring about peace.

Just the opposite,if the world was ran by a superpower, we would be at the mercy of that superpower. in other words that superpower would have ultimate power over everything we do. an would not be bound by the constitution, of the United States even if the U.S. was a part of it,in other words what your talking about is a world dictatorship an quite frankly that global world government stuff scares the crap out of me. it never use to but I just don't know about American's anymore they have seemed to of lost something along the way.I think it's faith, we all need to get it back !!!!!!
