It is a very broad topic. Why don`t you have a look at http://beliefnet.com first, they pretty much try to cover everything... ? Then see what you would do differently...

great idea. I was planning on doing a site like this myself. would u like to work in conjunction with each other on such a site? I had envisioned a full bible text search/display, resources on starting a bible study, daily bible passages, a program to generate a bible reading plan, and hopefully even a blog for users to talk about spiritually. What did you have in mind for this site?
