I am exhausted and my back hurts and I feel generally tired and sore. My stomach is upset, but I don't really have a fever or a cough or headache. I just feel really awful, and I am having a hard time sleeping. Anyone have any ideas?

It might be a cold. Usually with the flu, you will get at least a headache. But with a cold, you usually get a runny or stuffy nose, congestion and possible fever/chills. Any sore throat? That's an indication of the flu or a cold also. In both, you could have a stomach ache. Are you having a hard time sleeping because of your backache? Try taking some tylenol or advil before bedtime then soak in a warm bath or place a heating pad on your back for a half hour to ease discomfort before going to sleep. That may help. For tummy aches, eat a bland diet for a day or two and see if that helps (apple sauce, dry toast, oatmeal, eggs, etc...). If your symptoms don't clear up and if things get worse, make an appt. with your Doctor. In the mean time, you can also visit the following website: www.wrongdiagnosis.com Here you can look up symptoms and illness, it might help. Good luck, hope you feel better soon.

I agree sounds like signs of pregnancy. Though it also could be some kind of sickness. Check to see if you are or will be late, and maybe go to the doc's office if you can't figure it out cause they can do some type of test.
