I would do something small, like a DVD maybe. Is he getting you something? I really think the guy should initiate the gift giving in the relationship. If he gives you something, then you give him something. Usually, if a guy takes the time to pick out a gift for a special occasion, holiday, birthday, then he is usually into you. If he doesn't get you anything, then it's possible he is unsure about the relationship.

Bake him some cookies or some brownies. It's not real expensive but with the time it takes he will know that you care.
