I can't believe it did this?

Question

My 12 year daughter bought some candy called "warheads" They are VERY sour. She took them to school which she was told not to do and to avoid being caught she kept one in a stationary position in her mouth on her tounge to avoid being caught by her teacher. Now she has a sore on her tounge the size of a penny. all the skin and taste buds are gone it's bloody and swollen. Has anyone ever had this happen? and if so will it heal and will she get her taste buds back???

well it is a chemical irritation......to the tongue....everything will heal back dont worry
