I am still going to take capoeira and i wanted to know how capoeira will help muay thai and how muay thai helps capoeira.

What kind of basic system would be good to use for ex. use muay thai to fight then capoeira to evade and trick such and such. Thanks for the kickass info.

Just use MT to fight, and Capo to keep you conditioned. you dont want to start dancing on your hands outside the training hall dude.

it is good for your balance, agility, fitness and stamina, but you should keep it separate unless the opportunity is there. but I cant see an opening for it if you use MT in the fight.

instead of evading, you should just be ruthless and make a prolonged attack/offense against them. the fight will be over quicker.

Capoeira was such a great art until it got outlawed. Then It had to be disguised in a dance (you know the story I'm sure) there for it lost its true meaning and purpose that being self defense. Muay Thai on the other hand has always been a great art. Masters of Muay Thai are some of the most powerful strikers in the world.

i've taken both dont really see capoeira as a way to improve your thai boxing with kicking techniques becuz they differ so greatly but more with kickass agility, flexiblity, speed, endurance, timing, balance, strength etc...

evading...capoeira isnt really gonna help you for thai boxing for the most part its pretty showy u might get kicked in the head doin a good number of the evades playing in a roda will give u crazy reflexes though

and capoeira gives you a great sense of deception and flexibility to pull off good kicks you may use in thai boxing along with speed power and all the things i listed above
