how do self-cleaning ovens work (kenmore), do they need to be re-filled with cleaning liquid or something?

They heat up to a very very high temperature and burn everything off the inside walls of the oven. No cleaning solution.

They just work with very high heat, which burns off the cooking residue inside the oven. No cleaners required!
