your eyes will get used the darkness of the place if u keep on opening your eyes. then after 10min. or more, you will probably see well enough in the dark to see someone else. another option: get a flashlight! i don't think u can positively see in the dark. even cats can't. they see in very dim places better than us but not in complete darkness.

Your eyes are close, that is why you are in the dark, try opening your eyes, see the difference? Light and dark..

IF you are in the darkness long enough your eyes will adapt and you will be able to more than you think....
