He sounds like a wendy whiner. Don't get him back, even though you want to. Not supportive enough? Oh waah waah. Poor me. WTF??
Find a real man, honey. One that doesn't whine.

buy him an athletic cup and a straw... "here's your support now suck it up" lol sorry to say it sounds like he was just using that as an excuse u know the whole its not you its me... well he reversed that and said its you not me and I want out. Don't worry about him a man shouldn't need a fulltime cheerleader.

wear a cheerleader uniform and show up to his house. jk.
ask him what he meant and then try to work it out 2gether. get him a nice something 4 valentine's day, then try to pay more attention to him, to his dreams and aspirations. Be interested in what he does, his pastimes, everything about him. Help him making bog decisions 4 his career, and so on.

You Don't! You realize that you weren't supposrtive. `Cause you weren't in Love with him. Start listening to Your Heart. And seeing what it has to say. That Thumping, is telling you who you need to be with. And not someone to Party with. Party with someone's Heart. Not their Bod's, Beers, or Buddies. Make Life as Beautiful as it is Fun!

Please, move on to someone better. How were you not supportive enough? Not enough money? Or what? Take care.
