you can try shaving off but at teh same time i also suggest...make a mixture of castor oil,gooseberry oil and massage it on her head
castor oil and goosberry oil both are known to encourage hair growth real fast.
and wash her head with jonsons baby shampoo
we use castor oil for babies in india
its a part of thier gentle body massage regime they go throuhg daily to make them strong .
shaving really does maek the hair grow fast

I agree with Maria. Feed her nutritious and healthy food, and that is the best thing you can do for her hair andn her body. But be patient...it may be that your daughter's hair won't grow until she is 2 or 3, but if you are feeding her healthy foods, her hair will be beautiful when it does grow!

Just feed her well. Seriously, the only thing that will make it grow is time, so keep her healthy and her hair should grow in strong.

I would say leave it alone. Why does it need to be long yet anyway? If you try to make it grow at this stage you may damage her hair as it is still baby hair.

shave it off. ALL of it. and i'm not kidding....when it grows back it'll be thicker. my brother had it done a few times when he was a baby and now he had realllly thick hair. i wish my parents would have done it to me!

why? she's one and a half...but in any case everyone's hair grows at its own pace. there really not anything you can do to make it grow any faster.

shave her hair bald !! that is what my mom did to my niece and her hair grew in really fast and beautiful
